LEARN
IN YELLOW SPRINGS The Yellow Springs community is sometimes known as the “Education
Village" for the breadth and depth of the educational opportunities
it offers to residents and visitors. Early
childhood learning and day care are
available through the Community Children’s Center
and other private facilities. The award-winning public school system
has the most personalized education schools from K through 12 and
Antioch School offers highly individualized education from K through
7th grade. Antioch College, with both undergraduate and graduate
programs, is right in the middle of the village, which is itself
at the center
of 14 other institutions of higher education,
both public and private, within a 30-minute drive. The community
also offers arts and crafts education programs through the Community
Arts Council. The community library is the most popular in the
Greene County system and other specialized libraries at Antioch
University and elsewhere are also available to residents.
