Early childhood learning and day care are available through the Community Children’s Center and other private facilities. The award-winning public school system has the most personalized education schools from K through 12 and Antioch School offers highly individualized education from K through 7th grade. Antioch College, right in the middle of the Village, and Antioch University Midwest, on the outskirts of the Village, provide both undergraduate and graduate programs. Yellow Springs itself is at the center of 14 other institutions of higher education, both public and private, all within a 30-minute drive. The community also offers arts and crafts education programs through the Yellow Springs Arts Council. Our community library is the most popular in the Greene County system and other specialized libraries at Antioch University and elsewhere are also available to residents. |
