IN YELLOW SPRINGS Three major industries, which were started and grew to
international scope here, form an important employment base for
the community. In addition, the community has had a tradition of
fostering and nurturing small start-up businesses of every variety
from new retail concepts to high-tech custom equipment. Although
many of the residents commute to jobs elsewhere in the region a
significant number also work locally as well. A rich cadre of experienced
entrepreneurs and executives reach out to help new business to
begin, grow and prosper. A new Center for Education and Business
has been established in the village and will be the home of the
McGregor School of Antioch University and a focus location for
business growth.
